But his heart is set on only one woman: Pearl Robinson.
Alexandre’s dark and dysfunctional past makes him crave stability and a normal relationship, but he soon finds out that Pearl is a bird with a broken wing. Why, he isn’t sure.

Sunny's Review:
If you are going to read Pearl I feel like you need to read the trilogy first from Pearl's POV. This book is from Alexandre's POV and there are a lot of the same scenes but there are so many more. I LOVE Alexandre. At first, I was not really taken with him. I can't lie. I was uncertain after starting the trilogy. I was literally like OMG what did I get myself into...But I was pleasantly surprised with this book.
In Pearl's POV I was thinking that Alexandre was not my idea of a good BBF. He is French (yes, I know, I am like the ONLY girl that isn't all starry eyed over the French guys), he is a lot younger than her and he comes off as very I don't know...I just didn't really like him. So when I read his POV and got to see what he was actually thinking...OH WOW!!! He is AWESOME. He is so freaking sweet and yes in the first book I thought he was using his dog at first as line. When you get to see how he thinks about his beloved pet you realize he is really the nicest guy. LOVE HIM!!!
I am going to give this book 4 stars. Like I said I was a little uncertain at first but AMAZED when I got to the end. Oh and one last thing, OH MY HOLY CLIFFHANGER!!!! Can I please have the next book NOW???!!???!??

Guess who stopped by for a quick interview???? DAISY!!!! (so freaking excited)
Yay! I am so excited that Daisy had time to stop in for a quick interview. I love her and she is really a great friend to Pearl. So here you go:
Sunny: Hi! Thank you so much for stopping by and giving us the low down on Pearl and Alexandre.
So did you really move to Hawaii?
Daisy: Not yet but I am seriously considering it. I'd like to raise Amy in a safe environment away from pollution and the chaos of a city. Hawaii would be an amazing place to live I think, especially for a child. There's a lot to do and it would be a really healthy environment.
S: I think it would be AMAZING! Have you been back since the first time? Are you enjoying the single life or are you settling down with any HOT surfers?
D: We went on vacation and yes, Zac and I are in touch! However, when you have a child you can't just jump into things...I need to weigh all this up very carefully. Pearl's dad and I have become very good friends, too. We'll see.
S: So on to Pearl and
Alexander…what were you really hoping would happen with Pearl when she first
told you about Alexander? Did you want her to enjoy a fling or did you
suspect it would turn into real feelings?
D: To be honest, I thought it was just going to be a fling. But she needed
that. She's been so locked in with work and in her little shell. I thought she
should go out and have some fun. Little did I know, her whole life would be
turned upside down by a Frenchman!
S: Have you ever seen
Pearl react to anyone the way that she did to Alexander?
D: Never. She was always
very detached and cool with men. She lost the plot with Alexandre. With her ex
husband it always seemed as if they were just buddies, really. With Alexandre
you could see that she was besotted with him.
S: When they “broke-up” what were you thinking? Did you think that they were
done and she was never going to find happiness?
D: I do know quite a bit about how men's minds work with my training as a psychotherapist. I thought if she stayed cool and didn't show him what a basket-case she was inside, she had a chance of winning him back. If you're all over a guy, they run! I think my advice paid off!
S: (small spoiler--don't read if you don't want to know a small detail that I love from Alexandre's POV) What were you
thinking when Alexandre called you about Pearl?
D: At first I thought something had happened to her. But then I
realized that he was going crazy that she had left him the way she did. I felt
proud of Pearl for being so strong. Women need to be that way or men walk all
over them. I certainly gave him a run for his money in that phone call! Got him
really worried. That was the idea!
S: Are you and Pearl still close? How much has changed since she got married,
started having babies and her business seems to be taking off?
D: She's become like a sort of superwoman! I don't know how she does it! Well, having people help run her house and business does help but she is going from strength to strength. We are still very close. We chat on the phone at least a few times a week and meet up. Another reason I hesitate about moving to Hawaii...I'd miss my Pearl!
S: Do you think we are
going to see anything else from Pearl and Alexander? Or from you? Are you going
to tell the world what you are really up to now and how you got there?
D: I think we all have a story inside us so I hope so. I feel ready to embark
on an adventure. I feel as if my life is just beginning in a way. There is so
much I want to explore and now that Amy's older I think it's time.
S: Thank you so much for
your time. I know you are busy but I really appreciate it.
D: Thank you Sunny. Anytime!
So what did you think? I love getting the insight on other people from someone on the inside.
