D.L. Raver's Indulging In Irelyn on sale for $.99 for a limited time

Being Zolt, the second and final book of Zolt and Irelyn's story, will be released in early June.

Warning: Don't read this book if you hate f**ked up alpha males, strong female leads, hot sex, and a kismet love story six years in the making. Oh yeah and a plot twist that will leave you reeling.

NFL quarterback, Zolt Hamil was America's heartthrob until a career ending injury changed his life. Years later, he's picked up the pieces and carved out a new path for himself. But the mental and physical scars of that day have left him moody and reclusive, and his only relief is indulging in pleasure and pain with his many one night stands. Though many women have tried, Zolt refuses to care about any of them. Only one woman has his heart; a hallucination of a young, sable-eyed, blonde beauty whom he conjured that painful day on the football field.

On the first day at his new job at a law firm in Scottsdale, Arizona, Zolt comes face to face with his hallucination, Irelyn Wilkes. Their fateful connection, and explosive passion for each other pulls them together, and this time, Zolt refuses to let her slip from his life.

But Irelyn has her own demons to fight, and her controlling boyfriend is one of them. He doesn't take kindly to other people playing with his toys, and he'll stop at nothing to keep her by his side.

Can Irelyn and Zolt defy the odds and find a way to be together? Or, will the events set in motion years ago keep them apart forever?

New Adult. Recommended for eighteen and above due to adult content, drug use, language, and sexual situations.

Neanderthal Seeks Human by Penny Reid!!!!

This is a full-length, 110k word novel and is the first book in the Knitting in the City series.
There are three things you need to know about Janie Morris: 1) She is incapable of engaging in a conversation without volunteering TMTI (Too Much Trivial Information), especially when she is unnerved, 2) No one unnerves her more than Quinn Sullivan, and 3) She doesn't know how to knit.
After losing her boyfriend, apartment, and job in the same day, Janie Morris can't help wondering what new torment fate has in store. To her utter mortification, Quinn Sullivan- aka Sir McHotpants- witnesses it all then keeps turning up like a pair of shoes you lust after but can't afford. The last thing she expects is for Quinn- the focus of her slightly, albeit harmless, stalkerish tendencies- to make her an offer she can't refuse.

Darra's Review:

There is so much to say about Janie. I feel like I read Wikipedia myself. I had a few moments I did think “Huh, I didn’t know that.” Obviously Quinn must have liked that too. I thought he was interesting. Quiet, but likeable. Plus who doesn’t like Thor! They are a unlikely couple that makes it interesting.
I read the books out of order but was really glad I got to read Quinn. However I want to know more! So many things missing I need to know. Ugh, mysterious guys!
Loved the book. And I like reading a book where I am not crying into the depths of my sorrows. It is a fun read with awkward people.
I give it a 4.5. Much love to Penny Reid and her Neanderthal!

Sunny's Review:

Seriously can't believe how much I love Penny Reid's books. We met her at a book signing in Houston a few weeks ago and it was like finding out long lost friend. I tell Darra "I would so read those books just because of the titles" and so we walk over to tell her that we have never heard of her. She says that is fine I am a little different. I have a different sense of humor and I make up words. Darra and I looked at each other said SOLD!! So I was a little bit scared b/c what if I was looking forward to this AWESOMELY HILARIOUS book and it was eh, okay. Well guess was definitely AWESOMELY HILARIOUS!!!! I was cracking up from page one and I can totally identify with Janie's meltdown in the bathroom at work.

Janie might be one of my favorite female characters. She is so funny and awkward, ridiculously smart and not the perfect cookie cutter skinny, tan, super fit girl. I literally have a girl crush on her. She was so funny and I am glad that I read this book. Quinn was great too. I love the whole super hot, quiet intimidating guy. I mean he did not say much but definitely let his presence be known. I like that he when Janie started to get nervous and would spout off random facts he was just like tell me more. I do agree with Darra I want to know more about him but he is definitely on my list!!! I already know that I will read this book many times in the future.

I am giving this book 4.5 out of 5 stars and I will tell you that Penny's books just keep getting better. I can't wait to read Neanderthal Marries Human. Now the picture below was taken at our office and will make more sense after you the first chapter...I FEEL YOUR BATHROOM PAIN JANIE!!!

SEX! It all started with sex, between my parents. Personally I don’t like thinking about it, but whatever works for you is a-ok with me. No judgment. The sex happened in California and much of my life also occurred in that state until I moved from the land of nuts (almonds), wine, silicon… boobs, and heavy traffic to the southeast US. Like most writers I like to write, but let’s get back to sex. Eventually I married and gave birth to 2 small people-children (boy-6, girl-4 as of this writing).

A secret magical society, an evil sorcerer, and a powerful male watching her from the sidelines add to the intrigue. And King himself has a dark secret that may prove Marissa’s undoing. Everything hinges on whether Marissa’s willing to leap without looking and face the consequences.

Loving Ms. Wrong

By C.J. Ellisson

Marcus, the polished metrosexual who hates to get his hands dirty, stumbles upon the ladies at a local bar. Sparks fly when the two meet, courtesy of a 12-sided sex dice and a night neither one will ever forget.

A is for…

By Lila Dubois
When the overseers of LA’s most exclusive BDSM club declare the start of a sexy new game that all members must play, Anna has no choice but to participate. Master Jensen knows who, and what, he wants—Anna—but before he can have her he’ll have to prove to the lovely submissive that he can master every letter of the alphabet.

Sunny's Review:

So we all know that I love C.J. Ellisson and her books. I was really excited to read about Marcus because he was so funny about Tony ending up with Heather. I really wish I could get more of him but I enjoyed getting to know him a little better. I was a little bit surprised at how sweet he ended up being. He starts out super judgmental and as he gets to know Katrina he realizes he is being a jerk and rethinks some things. I like Katrina because she is a little bit shy but also very aggressive about some things. You should really get this book.

I liked all 4 books and I wish I had more from them. I liked the characters and I want to see what happens with Marissa. That is the only story that really ended without me finding out what happened. I think that you will enjoy all the stories and seriously 4 awesome authors and stories in one book!!! So great.

I am giving this book 4.2 stars out of 5. I really can't to get more from all of these authors!!!

About Julia Kent:
USA Today Bestselling Author Julia Kent turned to writing contemporary romance after deciding that life is too short not to have fun. She writes romantic comedy with an edge, and new adult books that push contemporary boundaries. From billionaires to BBWs to rock stars, Julia finds a sensual, goofy joy in every book she writes, but unlike Trevor from Random Acts of Crazy, she has never kissed a chicken.

She loves to hear from her readers by email at, on Twitter @jkentauthor, and on Facebook at

About Lauren Hawkeye (Jameson):

Lauren lives in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta, Canada with her husband, toddler, pit bull and idiot cat, though they do not live in an igloo, nor do they drive a dogsled. In her nonexistent spare time Lauren can be found knitting (her husband claims that her snobby yarn collection is exorbitant), reading anything she can get her hands on, or sweating her way through spin class. She loves to hear from her readers! Hawkeye's stories include erotic historical, steamy paranormal, and hot contemporary. Make sure to check out her work as Lauren Jameson, where her erotic romances take a walk on the wild side.

About Cathryn Fox:

New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author, Cathryn Fox is a wife, mom, sister, daughter, and friend. She loves dogs, sunny weather, anything chocolate (she never says no to a brownie) pizza and red wine. She has two teenagers who keep her busy with their never ending activities, and a husband who is convinced he can turn her into a mixed martial arts fan. Cathryn can never find balance in her life, is always trying to find time to go to the gym, can never keep up with emails, Facebook or Twitter and tries to write page-turning books that her readers will love.
Cathryn also writes Young Adult novels under Cat Kalen and co-writes paranormal romance as Taylor Keating.

About Sara Fawkes:

Sara Fawkes has always loved spinning tales, but her romantic roots come from sneaking her mother's old Johanna Lindsay books from the dresser drawer. She's been writing stories since she was a little girl (and has the home made books from preschool to prove it), and loves creating stories and characters and interesting messes for them to get into. An avid traveler and adventure motorcyclist, her dream job includes selling everything off and leaving civilization to see the world on two wheels, writing in cafes in each country she visits, and living off her writing. In the meantime however, she lives in California with her menagerie of pets and, when not writing, loves to rebuild old motorcycles/cars with her Dude and plays with the characters in her head. Yes, Master by Margaret Mcheyzer

My uncle abused me. I was 10 years old when it started. At 13 he told me I was no longer wanted because I had started to develop. At 16 I was ready to kill him. Today, I’m broken. Today, I only breathe to survive. My name’s Sergeant Major Ryan Jenkins and today, I’m ready to tell you my story. “Master would flog me if I did, she won’t be happy when I tell her what happened here.” “Master?” “Stella.” Oh, Master.

Sunny's Review:

This book deals with a lot of issues. At first you think you are going to reading another BDSM book but from page 1 you see that is not the case. Ryan has so many issues stemming from childhood but has done a pretty good job of hiding most of it. He is a high ranking in the Army and has a daughter. On the outside he does what he needs to do but on the inside he is basically at the end of his rope. He does not think he is worth anything. When Mason introduces Ryan to Stella there is the instant connection and Ryan does not understand it.  He learns the rules of D/s relationships and he starts to deal with some of his issues. This book takes a different look at the way these relationships work. In all the books you hear that the dom is keeping the sub safe and the sub really does have the power but you never really get to see what happens when the sub does stop it and can't handle what is going on. It is also interesting to watch very strong male characters go into the sub role.

I am giving this book 4.3 stars out of 5. If you want a book that shows you more than just the surface of BDSM you need to read this book.

I startle awake as I leap off the bed and sprawl on the floor. “Ry!” Mason yells from the other side of the door. I jump up off the floor and swing the bedroom door open. “You scared the shit out of me, Mason.” I run my hand over my eyes and face trying to wake up. “What do you want, man?” But I’m met with silence. When I look over at Mase, he’s staring at my body. He’s mouth’s open and his eyes are so wide. He rakes his stare down my body, then back up again. He lifts an eyebrow as he ogles me. I look down and notice I’m completely naked. I fell asleep on my bed with just the towel wrapped around me and he scared me with his bashing that now I’m standing before him totally exposed. He’s not moving away, and neither am I. “Mason.” I lower my voice as he looks up at me and just stares. He can see straight through me, totally bare and open, for him to see all my secrets. “We need to leave in an hour,” Mase says as he takes a step closer to me. I can feel his heat, and my body instantly reacts to him. Don’t be a coward Ryan, just reach out and touch him. His brown eyes turn from a hard brown into a molten chocolate as we stand a mere step apart from each other. Our breathing is labored and rapid. Mason reaches forward and brings his hand up to my chest, but before he touches me, his demeanor changes and he retracts it, dropping it beside his body. “I can’t,” he whispers as he turns away from me and goes into his bedroom. My head spins as I close my door and stand completely ashamed in my room. He doesn’t want me. Why would he? I’m broken.

I don't do 'normal'. I've found that the more I write, the more I like being different to other authors. I write in first person, and I love to challenge a reader. I take the normal and switch it around. For me, I really enjoy getting a reaction from a reader. So if I can evoke an emotion (regardless of if it's the emotion the reader wants) then I figure that I've done my job as an author I want to be. I really quite revel in taking people out of their comfort zones and pushing them to read something different. My genre of writing is, well quite frankly, where ever my mind goes. I won't label myself because I don't like sticking to one genre. My goal with writing is just to take people away from whatever is going on in their lives, even if it's only for a split second. I'm a go with the flow sort of person and don't really take a course of action to get where I am going. I live in the moment and don't usually worry about tomorrow because whatever life is due to bring me, I'll be happy to accept. I love my family and friends and will help anyway I can if someone needs it. I really don't like people that are nasty just because they can be, I don't believe that's necessary, I mean life's hard enough as it is! I hope you enjoy my books, I've had a hoot writing them. There's more to come..... Til next time. M xx
