Sunny's REVIEW:
This book is definitely ADULT. Um WOW is what I have to say about it. You have Gabby who moves across the country and is scammed out of everything she has but she works hard and takes care of herself. She lucks out that Hudson helps her (she does not know at first) and meets several very good people when she first gets to New York. She could have been a lot worse off but luckily everyone is very helpful. I like that even if people had not helped her she would have done whatever it took to help herself. Hudson comes off as a condescending jerk who thinks he is better than everyone else. You do get to see where he came from and he is really not like that. Life has harden him but he doesn't see the goodness in himself so he does not show it to others. Natalia is Hudson's best friend and oldest friend. She knows that Hudson is a good person but she does not think that they are good for each other.
I like that this book doesn't have everyone in love and HEA in a couple of months. This book spans almost a year (or maybe longer) and it takes the whole time for everything to develop. I am giving this book 4 stars. It is a good story and I would like to see what happens next but I am not sure if I am happy with the way this one ended up so far. I am pretty sure plenty of people would be ecstatic with what happened but I don't know....I don't know what I wanted but this wasn't it. Maybe its good that authors don't always write stories the way I want it to be. It makes me think of situations in a different way. I recommend you go get this book and tell me what you think!!!
