I really like this series of books. They are all set up to be stand alone books but they are all focused on different members of the same group of friends. I like Jonathon. He is kind of a jerk in that he is a womanizer but unapologetic about it. I do like that he was embarrassed when he met Patricia and she realized he was with 2 other girls. I do like Patricia. She is smart, funny and does not automatically roll over and do whatever Jon wants. They both some issues from their pasts to deal with and it pulls them apart. J.C. does a good job making you feel their pain and making you want to slap some sense into both of them. I like when an author can make me feel so strongly for the characters.I am giving this book 4 stars out of 5 and recommend you reading it. Like I said these books can be read alone or as a series. I have enjoyed all the books in the series so far and look forward to more.
