When I read the first book of the series, Only for You, I truly felt that Sam needed her own book. Genna does a great job with making the reader understand every emotion each character is feeling. What Sam has to overcome is unbelievable and with her recovery and all the craziness that happens after what Heath did to her, it keeps you glued to the book.
You get more of Griffin as well. I will say I did love Hunter. However I knew the little that I did read of Griffin in the first book, I would love him too. And has exceeded my imagination. Let me tell you, perfection is the best way to explain who he is. Leaves these real world guys we know up in smoke! Together they have a strong connection and despite all of what happens, Griffin never stops loving Sam. Talk about a rollercoaster of crazies after her. Sam gets trapped into! Nothing got in their way.
I would rate this book a 4.2. Great follow-up book. Sometimes I have problems with reading a second book that has one of a side character from first book of the series, but I had no problem with this. The characters were just as strong and amazing as what we got before.
