ENTANGLED COVER REVEAL!!!

Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000038_00071]add-to-goodreads-button31Synopsis:
Things heat up, and not just the Georgia summertime, when Dane and Laney go head to head over plans for her new duplex. But Laney's got his number, and knows just how to coerce her bossy, domineering man. Spend the summer with the gang and find out...just how many is a crowd?
The members of the Evolve Crew are getting older; so is the content. Mature audiences recommended.
Teaser “Men shouldn’t know how to decorate anyway, using words like gaudy.” I let one brow raise and give him a suspicious smirk. “Do I need to learn how to fix the cars then? What if I get a flat?” “Oh baby,” he growls, his feet pounding the floor as he stalks toward me, “you questioning my manliness?” “Maybe,” I tease, slowing backing up. “Nancy.” My eyes dart anxiously around the room, mentally planning my escape route in this new territory. He laughs deeply, not a ‘ha ha that’s funny’ laugh, but more an ‘uh huh I’m coming to get ya’ sexy laugh. “Got it planned yet?” He grins knowingly, one eyebrow cocked. “Better run to wherever looks the most comfortable.” There’s no furniture yet, what is he talking about comfortable? Seeing the confusion on my face, he answers unasked. “Showing you how much of a man I am when I catch ya,” he creeps closer, “so I’d stay away from the tile, might hurt your back,” the mischief in his eyes ignites as he continues moving slowly closer, “or your knees.” Do I still have to pretend I don’t want to be caught? I love this side of Dane; the dominant, controlling, hunter than comes out more and more every day. The game’s precept itself is laughable; no one could question Dane’s virility. It seeps from his pores, an aura around him taking up all the air in a room. And he’s all mine. From his forever jostled brown locks and matching warm eyes, cocky lopsided grin and sculpted chest all the way to his eight back, that irresistible v and toned, tight ass- he is mine. “You wouldn’t!” I challenge, knowingly delightfully well that he would. “Oh baby, you know I can and will.” He flips open the button on his pants, that cocky grin suffocating me from where he stands, “I think you want me to.”

Blue Love by MJ Fields Review

Synopsis:

In this New Adult / College, Coming of Age story Tessa Ross tries to fight her attraction to bad boy Lucas Links. He is hot, arrogant, and has a sexual past that most boys his age could only dream of, (If they even knew they could dream of such things).

Lucas, the star quarterback seems to have it all, super star athletic abilities, expensive clothes, cars, and women who literally stop just to watch him walk by. On the outside he appears to have it all.

Tessa is a young woman who lives her life always doing what is right to make everyone else happy. She tries desperately to hold herself accountable to the demanding expectations of her family and everyone around her.

Is Tessa as innocent as she appears? Is Lucas just a spoiled young man who seems to have what every male, and female wants?

If you Love an emotional story that is full of spicy hot goodness. If you Love to follow a story from beginning until the bitter sweet end. If you are often left wondering what happened next... get your tissues and lip balm ready you are in for the read of your life.

As we all know, you should never judge a book by it's cover.

Goodreads

Sunny's Review:

I really like the way this book was written. It is from several POVs and you could see what everyone is doing/thinking.  There are a lot of issues that are shown in this book.  You have Tessa trying to deal with problems in her home life and still be the good person she was raised to be. Lucas has had a crap-tastic life and hides it from everyone. Lucas is a total man-whore and really kind of a jerk in the beginning. As you go along you get to see why he is the way he and what he has had to deal with in his life. I am not giving him a pass b/c of this but it does help to understand him. Tessa is actually pretty forgiving of a lot of his faults and really isn't as judgmental as I thought she would be.

I really can't wait to see what happens and I can honestly say that I was very up and down emotionally with this book. It does not give me my HEA but I am definitely ready to get to the next book. I am giving this book 4.2 stars out of 5.

EXCERPT:

Lucas watched as Tessa handed out cups of water finally bringing him one. He had taken off his shirt as well, and he was gorgeous. “Thanks Tessa,” he smiled.

“Thank you for your help Lucas, it was very nice of you,” Tessa smiled shyly at him.

“And she can smile,” he joked. “All I have to do is sweat my ass off throwing hay. Good to know.”

“Tessa, Tessa, we have the corn. Can we help you make dinner for all the boys?” Kendall and Jake asked.

“Sure,” Tessa said smiling like a child as she rubbed her brother’s head, “Can you start husking the corn? I’ll be over in a minute.”

“Tessa, you are making me dinner?” Lucas smirked. “Our first date,” he smiled, drank down his water, and jumped up so he was nose to nose with her. She stopped breathing as he stood there for a moment looking her directly in the eyes. Her heart skipped a beat and she let out a slow breath.

Lucas’s smile left as he looked at her. He was finding it difficult to breathe too. He took a step back and gave her a conflicted smile before he scaled the elevator up to the hay loft.

 About MJ Fields

I am a very new self published writer. I will tell you I have always had a very vivid imagination. Starting at age 3 (as it states in my Baby Book).
Sigma was my very first love (imaginary boyfriend). He lived about fifteen miles from my childhood home, (a farm). I took him chicken noodle soup every night on one of our families snowmobiles, (Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring). Apparently he was very ill and "Thank God" I was able to take care of him.
Next was my very first self publishing gig. At eight my cousins and I (and yes I was the president) wrote a newsletter and sold it to our family members.
Years later I decided to put it back into print to entertain my cousin as she was on an aircraft carrier on 9/11 (Kick ass cousin BTW) and very far away from home during a very scary time for our country, (protecting our butts).
Fast forward to 2012. I read 50 shades and thought, I can do that, (meaning writing). I have two complete series The Love Series, and Wrapped. I have two new series Burning Souls and Men of Steel. Ten books in 13 months. CrAzY and wonderful.
I love love! ( I would love to reference Pinks new song here, however I am not sure if that would cause copyright issues.)I also tend to enjoy watching people grow and change with self realization and moments of clarity that just sneak up behind you and smack you in the head. I love people and have always been able to see both sides of a story. Each person that comes into our life leaves us with something it is what we choose to do with it that helps us grow.
I live in central New York in the middle of nowhere and am surrounded by family and friend most the time. I run a small business out of my home and spend time reading and doing the typical Mommy things. Our house is full of pets and friends and noise ninety percent of the time, and I would have it no other way.
I love people, music, laughter, hugs, and books.

Goodreads

Sunny's Review:

Ok...so this book...I don't really know where I want to go with this review. I have only read one other book where I have totally hated the characters and that was Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. I read Love Square and I absolutely hated Sam and Jacob. I have very strong feelings about cheating and I can't understand why Sam would do that. Now, having said that, the book is very well written and the scenes are HOT!  I actually really love Aiden and was ok with everything that he did to keep his marriage (even though I was thinking that he was crazy for wanting to keep her).  Jacob total douche. You know someone is married and still go after her?? What the hell?  Sam...I mean really...why cheat? I just don't get it.

Now onto His Ever After...this is from Jacob's POV (mostly) and was really annoyed that I had to read this book.  It was very hard for me to have any sympathy for Jacob. I mean Sam made it clear she was staying with Aiden and they were having a baby together. Maybe since I have never really lost a love to another person I don't understand but I just wanted to yell at him to get over it.  There are a lot of twists and turns in this story and it was interesting watching it unfold. I really liked Kara. I liked that at the end of the day she didn't really let Jacob walk all over her. She was also planning on leaving when she thought that she was still playing 2nd to Sam.  Once Jacob hooked up with her for real I started to like him more. I loved that he was so protective of her and it did break my heart a little when she was in the hospital.

You are probably thinking that I am going to give this book a horrible rating...but I am not. I think that the story was good and like I said there were so many twists and turns that it made it worth the read. I am giving it 4 stars. I know that a lot of people will really enjoy this series. The book comes out tomorrow and I recommend you getting it.

Play by Holly S. Roberts!!!

add-to-goodreads-button31

Synopsis

When Killian MacGregor, the hottest quarterback in the NFL, eyes the perfect pair of female legs, he spends an hour tracking the gorgeous woman in a room filled with rowdy teammates until one gets out of line.
Rebecca Cavanaugh, a long distance runner for the state team, intimidates boys and men with her quick wit and majestic height. The pre-season jock party isn’t her scene, but she’s roped into attending to provide her sister a sober ride home. Hiding in the kitchen to avoid the athletic sex fest, a drunken thug forces Rebecca to her knees, and waves a giant ding-dong in her face. Before Rebecca can extricate herself from the hairy situation, an unknown champion saves the night. When Killian assists Rebecca off the floor, she’s stunned into silence while staring at the sexiest man alive. Will Killian’s bad boy rep and Rebecca’s need for commitment, make this the most impossible “Play” of the season? Or, will Killian’s haunting past and need for victory destroy the most important game of his life? “Play” is intended for readers 18+. Enjoy with caution… this book contains adult situations, erotic sex, and more balls than a girl knows what to do with.

Sunny's Review:

We all know how I feel about football players and sport books...so do we think this one lived up to my standards??? ABSOLUTELY!!!

So part of me has always wondered about what athletes go through during the season. Like what is the day to day and what do you do before games. I think the first movie I ever saw where I was like "What the hell? Is that REALLY what happens?" (yes I was in a small town in Texas from 13 to 18 so I am naïve in a lot of things) was Any Given Sunday. I can honestly say my mouth was hanging open through most of that movie the first time I saw it.  I know I am off on a movie not the book.

So the book! I loved it. Rebecca was great b/c she was an athlete but she was also awkward and still had a very self image even though she was thin. I think that sometimes we forget that even if girls are super thin and tall they might have issues with their bodies. I know I am one of those people that is like why is she complaining about anything...she is tall and skinny and I would kill for her legs!! So I did like that she had confidence issues. I also liked the fact that even with those issues she did not automatically let Killian walk all over her. I mean he got his way A LOT but seriously I would have been like yes master whatever you want! but Rebecca stood up for herself where she should have. Killian...I mean is seriously on top of the Sports list. I think (I hate to say this & will have to do a reread to confirm but...) he might have passed up Jack Carter from The Perfect Game and The Game Changer. I know how could I even think it!!! I LOVE Jack & he is a baseball player!!! But Killian ****SIGH****.  Don't get me wrong...he is a douchebag in some areas but OMG he totally makes up for it. I don't want to give too much away but Killian is really so super sweet about some things too. I love him...I can't help it.

I am giving this book 4.6 stars out of 5. This will be a reread when I miss football season or maybe to get ready for next season or just when I need a Killian fix! Go get it and let me know what you think!!!

I dissolved into the seat of his amazing car. A low moan escaped my lips but Killian just showed his dimples and buckled me in. I wondered what he’d do if I pulled him tightly against me and sniffed… for an hour or two. He opened his door and folded into the seat with absolute grace regardless of his size. “Ah hell,” he muttered and turned my way. Unlatching my seatbelt, he pulled me in for the most mouthwatering kiss I’d ever had. His lips, soft but firm, molded to mine. His tongue ran over my teeth, tasted, dipped deeper, and then plunged. He effortlessly slid out the elastic holding my hair before spreading his fingers to either side of my scalp. The kiss intensified and Killian made promises for the night ahead with his lips. He tasted so damn good. When he pulled back, I actually whimpered and smiled at the low rumbling growl that came from Killian’s throat. He took my lower lip between his teeth and pulled slightly before letting go. He put distance between us leaving me bereft. “We’ll eat at my house.” He kissed my forehead, reached over, grabbed the seatbelt, and fastened me in again. My hands went to my hair as I looked around for the hair tie. “Leave it.” I stopped my search but couldn’t help running my fingers through the mussed tangles. Killian’s hand captured mine. “No.” He released my fingers just as fast as he verbalized the one word. I wasn’t a pushover, didn’t have much experience with guys, but I had some. I should have argued, straightened my hair anyway, or even voiced some sort of displeasure. An electrically charged pulse shot straight to the junction of my thighs, and there I went and tried to stain his car’s upholstery. I kept my mouth shut.

About the Author
The short story: I'm the wife of a most fabulous man for twenty years. I'm a mother of 2 busy teens. I'm a dog lover. I'm a serious drinker of coffee and wine. I live near New York City. My favorite place that I've visited is Monaco. My favorite color is green (but I look best in pink/salmon). My favorite food is chocolate. My favorite kind of music is New Country. The long story: I've always been a creative sort of person... I started with my college studies in Advertising Design and Illustration. I'm good at drawing and coming up with clever ideas. As for story telling - well, that's where I have the most fun! Ditching The Dream is my first novel, but I've been working on writing movies since, what seems like forever. Way back in high school my friend Aimee and I started writing a movie and I was hooked. We didn't know what we were doing, but we loved coming up with the story. I also like to come up with stories about people I don't know. Like the guy that cut me off on the expressway...He had quite a story - at least in my mind! Who knows? Maybe I've come up with a story about you! ;) Ditching The Dream is a story that came to me while I was helping two author friends of mine. I was helping them with their books and I would make suggestions to amp up their stories along the way. Bev and Amy encouraged me to write my own story and Ditching The Dream was born. Is it auto-biographical? No, not in the least. But it sure has been a fun story to come up with (especially when my hubby gets involved with coming up with ideas).   heartdividerPost

Excerpt

Once upon a time, I was sweet and innocent. Then shit happened. The End. Maybe I should start from once upon a time... See that girl over there? Yeah, the one in the disgusting pink cardigan and matching pearl necklace? That's me...Well, that was me two years ago before the 'shit happened'. So, I guess this is where I am supposed to pour my heart out and tell you I was abused or that my father was an alcoholic. No, this is where I tell you about how two people fucked me over by fucking each other. Can you see where I am going with this? Two years ago I was going to Harvard, two years ago I was working towards a degree in politics, two fucking years ago I was engaged. My whole life had been planned out for me from an early age, my father using his 'influences' to push me into the direction he wanted me to go. No, I had no fucking say in it, I mean Jesus! My parents are politicians. I couldn't even sneeze without permission. You think in this day and age a girl might be able to choose her own future, her own path. Fuck no, not me! I had to comply with the 'master plan'. What a pile of shit! Go to Harvard. Get a degree in politics. Marry Dustin Coleman. Dustin 'fucking' Coleman, even his name is vile! Sneaky piece of shit! Yeah, even my marriage was arranged. My mother had set me up with the son of a powerful DA and naturally she was ecstatic, me? Not so much. Felicity Paxton was a politician by day and a socialite by night, only meeting with the most powerful and money hungry names in the business. She was hell bent on keeping up appearances, always keep up appearances. No hair was to be out of place, no chipped nail polish and heaven forbid no frowning. “No one likes a bride with frown lines, dear.” She would say. She was fucking delusional. I played along with their sick and twisted games to manipulate anyone and anything in their path, including me. I didn’t have a choice in the matter anyway. I was a timid twenty year old, molded by her parents to ensure appearances were met. And if they weren’t well shit, I would be disowned. There is nothing worse than a powerful politicians perfect little girl going rogue. Anyway, I’m sure you’re wondering where this timid girl went right? Cue my ex-best friend Sophia; she was the daughter of the police chief inspector so naturally we were best friends. Gag me! She was also press hungry; she would do anything to get her face in the magazines. That included becoming my best friend and maid of honor at my wedding. Look I wasn’t always the bitter bitch I am now but hell; I thought I could trust Sophia. I know she was a leech but beside that she was my best friend, someone I could trust. Or so I thought. Keeping up so far? Good. So this is where the ‘shit happened’. Hold on to your hats because this is about to get pretty ugly. “What do you mean it’s no big deal? You’re in our bed with...her!” Yeah, you guessed it I walked in on my fiance and my best friend having sex in our bed, a week before the wedding/freak show. Now, if that was me now I would have cut them a new one. But that wasn’t me; I was timid and afraid of my own damn shadow. “Come on Blaine, it’s just sex.” Just sex? Apparently I had missed the fucking memo that it was okay to fuck your best friend a week before your wedding. “You’re kidding right? How do you expect me to be okay with you sleeping with her?” Was I the only person with a moral compass here? This was not okay. “No, I expect you to do as your future husband says and just get over the fact that I have a mistress.” Oh yeah, he played that card. But what really pissed me off was Sophia, sitting on my damn bed with a smirk on her face, not even trying to cover her surgically enhanced tits. “You look surprised Blaine? It’s funny how naive you actually are. You know your father has several mistresses.” The bitch spoke, damn what I would give to go back two years and kick seven shades of shit out of her. She was right though, as much as it fucking pains me to say it, my father was a notorious player. He had a shit load of mistresses that were happy enough to drop their panties for the politician. Fucking snake. But this wasn't about my father and his que of desperate whores, this was about my fiance fucking my best friend. And what the hell I was going to do about. I know you're desperate to find out exactly what I did. Did I run to daddy? Did I lose my shit and turn evil bitch on them? No, I did exactly what my parents feared most. I went rogue.

Teaser

He didn't know if he'd misread the signals. He didn't think so. Only one way to find out, he thought. Logan came up behind her, pressing his body firmly against hers. She felt one hand cover her hip, while the other reached up to brush the dark mass of hair away from her neck. His movements were slow, deliberate. The pressure of his fingers on her hip intensified as he trailed soft, whisper-like kisses across the nape of her neck, and down to her shoulder. He couldn't say why exactly, but the sudden tremble he felt course through her gave him the tiniest bit of satisfaction. She turned, breaking contact between their bodies for only a few brief seconds. Oh yeah, this is exactly where I want her, Logan thought. Pressed against him, her breath catching softly in her throat and her body humming, she was his to do with as he pleased. He placed both hands on her hips and held her there. He massaged gently, yet deeply, and Brooke could do nothing else but give in and accept the wonderful sensation of his highly skilled hands on her body. Her own hands came up to rest lightly against the broad expanse of his chest. The hard muscle beneath her fingers thrilled her. She loved the feel of him. She always had. His lips, warm and seductive, continued their assault down the long, slender column of her throat. Her skin was so tender there. He changed direction, working his way toward her ear. When he caught the sensitive flesh of her lobe gently between his teeth, a low, husky moan escaped her lips. God, that feels so good. Brooke heard the words echo through her head, over and over, until she could think of nothing else beyond that moment.

There is no time, no place, no safety in a war of fixation. A war in which the winner will be either the last one standing, or the last one to die.

Sunny's Review:

So I could not wait for this book to come out!! If you haven't read Fallen for You or Taken by You go get them and then get this book.  Stop reading now b/c there are spoilers if you haven't read them.

At the end of Taken by You I was like OMG what the hell just happened??!!?? Roger is so freaking psycho it isn't even funny! I was literally on the edge of my seat through the first part of this book. You could see how scared Kate was and I loved that she didn't just cry and play poor pitiful me. She tried to figure out ways to survive and get away. Neil was freaking awesome!!! He was not sitting around just waiting for the police to help him. He did not give up on finding Kate. I love Neil so much. He is like the almost perfect guy.

I am giving this book 4.2 stars out of 5. I think for a whole the series is definitely 4.5 stars. You get suspense, horror and romance all in one place. I love it!!!  GO GET THESE BOOKS!!!!

Sunny's Review:

I had zero expectations on this book...mostly b/c I have been so busy lately that I could not remember what this book was supposed to be about. I was very pleasantly surprised and really liked this book. Asher is an AWESOME alpha male. I am not always all into the "I'm the man so you are going to do what I say" guys but every now and then an author writes a guy with the perfect aggressive alpha and super sweet protector. Aurora Rose Reynolds did a great job with Asher.  I really like that no matter what he is trying to protect November. Unfortunately, for November she has had a craptastic life and tries to start over in a new place but it doesn't work out for her. She is still being stalked and that is not good. I like that November is not a wallflower and she doesn't let Asher get away with his bossiness.

I am giving this book 4.2 stars out of 5. It is a very sweet book with a little mystery. Great for a quick easy read. You will in love with ALL the Mayson brothers and I can't wait to read the next book!!!!
